Large teaching hospital needs a Trauma Program Manager to assist the Trauma Service Medical Director in the overall direction and coordination of their trauma service. The interim Manager coordinates quality improvement, supports marketing efforts and acts as a clinical resource to all departments. Responsible for care of the trauma patients, provide and coordinate education for the trauma service within the hospital and medical school. Several additional FTEs support the department. The interim Manager’s focus will be to oversee the Trauma Registry and help the department prepare for an upcoming survey. To be considered for the opportunity you must have Trauma Management experience and bring a background in Emergency, Critical Care or Rehabilitation Nursing. Prefer Masters prepared, California RN license with TNCC, BLS and CCRN certifications.

Large California hospital is seeking an interim NICU Manager. The NICU has an ADC of 50+. Will oversee 5 supervisors and a staff of approximately 200 most of which are RN’s and included a Clinical Nurse Specialist and an Educator. Only RN’s are unionized. Numerous collaborations involving quality initiative programs are ongoing. Looking for a candidate who has good financial understanding, able to team build, mentor the staff and supervisors and be a role model and coach. Must have a Masters degree minimum and have a California RN license or able to obtain one.
